How to Apply to Stay out

1. Apply through wis.hufs.kr.

However, the option to apply to stay out is ONLY available in Korean. It will NOT show up if you use the English language option.

2. Days Available and Registration Button

You can see how many "stay out" days are left during the semester for weekdays with the first arrow on the left. The second arrow points to the button that you need to press to apply to stay out.(1 semester: approx. 16 days )

3. Details of the "Stay Out"

4. Details of the "Stay Out"

After you save (successfully), you will see a log of your stay out. If you decide to change your plans and not stay out, you should delete this using the 삭제 (delete) button so it does not count against your week-day stay outs.

International House Rules

The International Houses have many of the same rules as the GlobeeDorm/Global Hall. However, there are differences. For example, cooking is allowed in the International House dormitories.

You must thoroughly tidy up and clean your room before you check-out.

Just as in the GlobeeDorm, allowing members of the opposite gender into your room will result in immediate expulsion from the dormitory.

Waste Disposal Instructions

You must separate your trash into food trash, recyclables (plastic/paper, etc.) and regular trash (things that are not recyclable or food). There are specific trash bags you need to use which can be purchased from nearby convenience stores. Plastic bottles should be placed separately into the big brown bin outside the dormitory. Recyclable paper also needs to be disposed of separately. Please observe the recycling and waste disposal regulations and empty your sink food trap filter (remove top strainer) regularly.
